How then should we vote? Part 1

"And ye, O peoples, to whom God gave the liberty to choose your own magistrates, see to it, that ye do not forfeit this favor, by electing to the positions of highest honor, rascals and enemies of God." John Calvin

I chose to volunteer for George W. Bush’s campaign for president in the South Carolina primary back in 1999 because of the testimony of two people I was close to who knew then-Governor Bush, and their confidence that he was a sincere evangelical believer. It just so happened that I also agreed with his perspective on the issues too. But that’s not how I made my choice for who to support in the primaries this year; my theology has changed some since then.  read more »

is for making much of Christ whether the world falls apart or holds
together."

(24-23-22 weeks and falling), and for emotional health reasons even
after that. We know this because he has expressed his support for
the Freedom of Choice Act which is before Congress and would give
federal sanction to just those "rights" and would take from the
states the right to make many laws protecting the unborn that are
now being proposed.

Manhattan Declaration

Posted on 01/12/2010       Categories:

You may be aware from media accounts last Fall about a document that was signed by a
number of Evangelical authors along with Roman Catholic and Orthodox Church
leaders called the Manhattan Declaration, and our pastoral team has received
some questions regarding our position on the document.  You can read the document here read more »
